Within this year, Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency targeted to connect 135 houses in Sebira Island of Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district with Domestic Wastewater Management System (SPALD).

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency's Clean Water and Wastewater Section Head, Fajar Avisena mentioned, his side is socializing SPLAD construction plan to residents in Sebira Island.

"After socializing it, we will start the construction. The wastewater management will more preserve the environment," he conveyed after the socialization, Thursday (10/1).

SPALD construction, he added, also aims to treat wastewater based on quality standards in other residential islands.

Meanwhile, Harapan Island Urban Village Head, Adi Apandi said, other houses that have not been connected to SPALD are targeted to be completed next year.

"SDA Sub-agency will connect the remaining houses next year through a self-management budget," he closed.
